Meet Angel Tree Staff, Steve and David:

Steve

Steve Collins is an Angel Tree Camp Manager with over 25 years of first-hand experience in Christian camp ministry. Prior to joining the Angel Tree Camping team, he served as program director and later as executive director at South Mountain Christian Camp in North Carolina. His entire career in camp ministry has been dedicated to reaching kids from hard places. Summer camp played a pivotal role in his own life and in the development of his faith. He is an avid believer in camp ministry and the impact that it has on young lives. Steve also served for over a decade in various volunteer roles with Christian Camp and Conference Association because he is passionate about supporting and equipping other camp leaders. At Angel Tree, he applies his skills and passions to help partner camps reach children with incarcerated parents so that they can hear the Good News of Jesus Christ and experience the love of God at summer camp.

David

David has served children from hard places through Christian camp ministry for over a decade, mostly serving as the executive director of Camp Ray Bird in South Bend, Indiana. Through his time as a director, high school chemistry teacher, and his role as a manager with Angel Tree camping, David has always been passionate about assisting others in reaching their potential, especially those who tend to slip through the cracks. David lives in Cincinnati with Alyssa, his wife of 13 years, and their three young sons.
