Free to Love

A former camper recently reached out to us at Teen Reach to thank us for giving her the book “His Princess: Love Letters from Your King” by Sheri Rose Shepherd. 

When asked which letter impacted her the most, Jenna* was quick to respond. “My Princess . . . You are Free to Love”. 

Don’t let people who have caused you pain paralyze you from experiencing the joys of love . . . remember no one will love you as perfectly as I do. 

Jenna said this letter “has really given me strength to get through some hard times in my late teens, dating a guy for the first time, and it ended up being abusive. But this message helped me get through that pain.” 

The book was so meaningful to Jenna, she recently gave the well-loved copy to her 15-year-old niece for her birthday. 

Today, Jenna, now in her early 20s, is counting down the days until her upcoming wedding. The princess is free to love.
