The Story Behind the Teen Reach Logo

Every logo has a story, a journey. The Teen Reach logo is no different.

The boot prints in the very first logo continue in the present design. They symbolize the path we walk with the youth we serve. The imprint bears evidence of life’s journey and reminds us that Jesus walks with us along the path. Sometimes there will only be one set of prints because Jesus carries each of us, including our Teen Reach youth, through difficult times. Psalm 23 promises us He is with us through the hills and valleys of life.

Not even a decade into its existence, the Teen Reach logo took a more traditional shape. We introduced the mountain to symbolize a difficult life or journey; the sun represents the ever-present hope of another day while the picture of the adult helping a youth to the summit signifies our mission.

The youth we serve is our WHY, the heart behind Teen Reach. They are the reason Teen Reach was established and why we will keep pressing forward. The legacy/original logo will continue to be timeless in representing Teen Reach while the new logo’s simplicity and focus will allow us to be more versatile in printing and marketing. In a nutshell, Teen Reach is about training safe adults to help youth reach their goals and introduce them to the hope of Jesus Christ.
