Lifetime Connections
Will and Angela debated on whether they wanted a late brunch or chicken wings earlier this spring. Deciding on wings, they were surprised when an employee said, “I know you.”
Angela looked closer at her face, trying to place the pregnant young lady with tattoos running down her neck. “Rosie?”
The former camper from T.R.A.C. Good News Omaha, Nebraska, broke into a grin. “I had the best time at camp. Can I get one of those Bibles? I want to raise my kids different than how I grew up.”
Over the next several months, Will and Angela have connected with Rosie, meeting her boyfriend and two young children. In addition to diapers, they gifted two camp Bibles to the young couple.
Within an hour after Rosie delivered her third baby, Rosie sent Angela a picture of the precious six-pound little miracle with the tuft of curly dark hair and wrinkly fingers.
Does three days really make a difference?
Camp creates opportunities for lifelong connections.
